January is nearly over, which means it's time to end any reflections and look to the year ahead.
This post is the concluding post around BEST Finds From 2018 series and will focus on Spring/Summer finds! As my Autumn/Winter edit was more daytime focused, I decided to switch things up and style a more evening look.
Here's my thrifted ensemble and some inspo for your next charity shop venture!

I’ve been obsessed with this M&S skirt since I found it in one of my favourite local charity shops! The skirts flowy shape along with the light brown dot pen stroke pattern against a black background definitely gives a nod to the leopard/ animal print trend we have all loved for the last few seasons.
The items in this outfit are as follows:
Jacket: Topshop, £49.00
Top: Primark, £4.99
Skirt: Marks & Spencer (from Scope), £4.00
Heeled Mules: Missguided, £25.00
Gold Hoops: H. Samuel, Gift
Total: £82.99 (but £4 if we only count the thrift item)
I actually found a really similar one on the Topshop website, link not an affiliate.
Even though this outfit only features one thrift find I think the ensemble demonstrates that you can create a whole trend-led look with items already in your wardrobe and a new pre-loved item.
This outfit is perfect for a ‘date night’ or an evening occasion I would add a red lip to polish the look off. I included a leather jacket in case it gets chillier as the night goes on and because I think it makes the outfit even chicer! If it’s not that cold I’d pop the jacket over my shoulders to channel some Parisian edge.
